Sky Cantrell, Beth
Sky is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and graduated from the University of South Carolina. "I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was six and have continued to grow in my knowledge of and love for Him over time, particularly through apologetic conversations and periods of loneliness. What a great, brilliant King we serve and what a welcoming, comforting friend we have in Christ Jesus!" "May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-26) is a verse very dear to her. From Sky: "A Big thanks and much love to my supportive husband, Daulton, my family back home in Tennessee, and the Scheppes, who are my Texas family. They are all such a blessing to me!"

A passage from God’s Word that Brian holds close is Psalm 18:2: "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."

He was born again in his early 20s. A verse that means much to Joe is Malachi 3:11: “I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts.” (Joe's testimony click here)

Ashleigh Lippe, Kari
Ashleigh is from Houston and is married to her childhood sweetheart, Trevor. She was raised in a Christian household, so she grew up knowing a lot about Jesus. Ashleigh did the church thing as a child and youth—and was even baptized while in the 5th grade. A deeply personal tragedy in 2020 triggered a search to understand God and His ways. In her journey, Ashleigh began to understand Jesus and His love. She became Christ-follower in 2022. Philippians 4:13 speaks volumes to her: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Of the verse, Ashleigh says: ‘Anytime I feel anxious, scared or overwhelmed, I take a deep breath and say this verse to myself. It gives me strength and comfort to continue taking one step forward at a time. Sometimes that’s all we can do is take that first step.’
Trevor Lippe, Ben
Trevor, a true Southeast Texan, grew up in nearby Pasadena and Beach City. He graduated from Baylor University (Sic’em Bears!). Trevor is married to wonderful Ashleigh. On receiving God’s salvation, Trevor says: ‘I was around 9 when I came to saving faith in Jesus. It was on a Mother's Day, and we were members of South Main Baptist Church. I grew up in a church home and had a grandfather, my mom's dad, who was the worship leader for First Baptist Church in Anahuac, TX. God was and still
is an important part of my life. The loss of my brother-in-law back in 2020 shook my faith. But in the end, leaning on our faith through such a tragedy was the whole reason we made it out on the other side. If anything, it made our faith stronger when relying on Him.’ A verse that Trevor holds tightly is Psalm 23:4: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." ‘This verse has given me strength in times of need. It is the one that I always go to during tough times.’

But at such a young age I often took for granted my knowledge of the Bible. As an adult I have learned through God’s grace to know Him personally - beyond the walls of the church building.” A verse that Emily holds dear is 2 Corinthians 5:17: "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” This passage is special to Emily because “in times when I’ve not been the 'best' Christian, the Lord has continually showed me that even in my worst seasons that I am a new creation in Christ. I no longer walk as the sinful, selfish person I was before truly following Jesus. I am a new creation. His goodness is abundant."

A role model of mine became my best friend and taught me what it means to give the good and bad to Jesus and put complete trust in Him.” Ryan holds Isaiah 40:29-31 near and dear: "He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
